Campaign Story

My name is Brea, and I have a genetic issue called Robertsonian Translocation. This causes recurring pregnancy loss due to most eggs that are produced being non-viable. My husband and I are a military family and would love to be able to have children of our own. Michael is in the Navy, and I am a USMC veteran. We both come from families with multiple siblings and large extended families. Our goal is somewhere between 2-4 kids, but just one happy healthy baby is enough for us. My husband and I have chosen names and cannot wait for the opportunity to grow our family.

We’ve tried every single homeopathic option in our diet and lifestyles to try and produce a viable pregnancy. Still, unfortunately, IVF with PGT-SR is our only option to be able to have the family we so desperately desire. I’ve lost upwards of 8 pregnancies, and we want nothing more than to be able to raise our own children. With IVF, the doctors will be able to test the embryos before implantation to make sure that they do not have the same chromosomal issues that I have, or any other issues that may create problems in pregnancy or after birth.
